"Don't take life too seriously, you can't come out of it alive."
I'm not sure who gets the original credit, but Elbert Hubbard comes up when I search (whoever that is!).
This quote means that no matter what happens, it's merely a part of life, and to stress over it or "take it too seriously" would be a waste since we all end up dead no matter what.
Sounds morbid, doesn't it? It's really not. It's more than that. It's truth and it's blunt.
There's no need to pretend that any one life is significantly longer than, or more important than another. In the BIG scheme of things our lives are just a blink-of-an-eye.
I say enjoy them while you can!
