Let's see here, what to tell...
For Thanksgiving Bob and I went up to Squaw Valley, USA to have dinner overlooking Lake Tahoe. It was sunny and beautiful!
On December 18th we moved into our new house! It was a long process dealing with a foreclosed on property but we are so thankful for the extra space and especially for a place to call our own. We are planning a home birth with our twins and can't wait to share with them the place of their birth!
Here I am just after Christmas- about 31 weeks pregnant. |
Christmas came and went fairly quickly and Bob and I found ourselves celebrating our 1 year anniversary on New Year's Eve. We chose a "Western" theme and had dinner at a nice steakhouse followed by the movie True Grit. Both were very good. After the movie we drove to a home that was decorated with lights that dance to Christmas music and watched the show. It was very magical.
Bob has been busy lately readying the twins' room for their arrival. He washed and scrubbed and sanded and painted for a whole week and finally is getting a break. The furniture that we do have went back into the nursery yesterday, just in time for Soleil's visit this weekend.
It's been sunny and in the 50's this weekend and we've all been enjoying some time outside.
Today is the 16th of January and I am about 33 weeks pregnant. My friends Katie Baker and Diana Romero are throwing me a baby shower today! I'm very much looking forward to it and will post pictures soon.
