This is a bit of a "throwback" because it actually happened during the last week of January, at which time we were desperate for outdoor time and other-human interaction. It was balls cold but nobody seemed to mind (for the first 30 minutes) because there was just so much to do + see. That and the kids were high off their first parking deck/elevator ride combo.
Big names like Rosie O'Donell and Sinbad were in town for a Comedy Fest and that shut down the otherwise traffic-jammed Front St. for foot traffic and winter activities: ice golf, sled-dog races, ice sculptures, zip lines, sledding, ice skating, food + drink.
Some of our favorite people met us there with their daughter the boys' age. We all had fun sharing golf holes and watching the zip-liners together.
Also, we ran into an "off-duty" clown while chilling on some ice benches, waiting for a porta-john. She gave the kids some balloon animal "duds", explained that it was her Birthday and went off to celebrate on the Ferris Wheel. Happy Day
Haha, you're kids are so adorable! Very nice photography by the way :-)
